Your privacy, in plain English.

This page explains what information Dr. Deepika's Complete Family Clinic ("we", "the clinic") collects when you use this website or book an appointment, why we collect it, who else can see it, and what rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
The short version: we collect only what we need to run a clinic appointment for you, we do not sell your data to anyone, and you can ask us to show, correct, or delete your information at any time.
1. Who we are
Dr. Deepika's Complete Family Clinic

Phone: +91-9910033190 / +91-124-4388-099
Email: familyclinicdeepika@gmail.com
For any privacy-related question or request, write to us at the email or phone number above. We are the Data Fiduciary under the DPDPA for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
When you book an appointment or interact with the clinic, we may collect:
- Identity & contact: your name, phone number, email address, and (if you provide it) age and address.
- Appointment details: the doctor you're seeing, the date and time, the reason or service category, and whether you attended.
- Medical information (only when relevant to your visit): symptoms, vitals, prescriptions written by the doctor, advised investigations, and follow-up notes.
- Anti-spam verification: when you book online, an automated bot-check briefly verifies that the booking came from a real person. This check does not store your identity.
- Anonymous website analytics: we count visits to pages using a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.
We do not collect financial information (we do not take payment online), social-media logins, or any data we don't need for clinical care.
3. How we use your data
- To confirm and manage your appointment.
- To send you appointment reminders by email.
- To create and share prescriptions written by the doctor during your visit.
- To keep an internal record of your visits, in line with how a clinic normally maintains patient records.
- To improve the clinic's operational reliability (for example, monitoring whether emails are being delivered or whether the website is loading correctly).
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or training general AI systems.
4. Who can see your data
Your data is visible only to the doctors and authorised clinic staff. To run the website and clinic operations, we share the minimum necessary data with carefully chosen technology service providers, each bound by their own privacy and security commitments. These providers help us with:
- Database and file storage for clinic records.
- Sending appointment-related email.
- Bot-check on the booking form.
- Adding appointments to the doctors' calendars.
- AI-assisted handwriting recognition, used when the doctor uploads a photo of a handwritten prescription so it can be turned into a clean digital copy. The image and resulting text are processed for this purpose only and are not used to train any AI model.
- Website hosting.
- Anonymous, cookie-free page-view counting.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your appointment and medical records in line with applicable Indian medical-record-keeping requirements. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it — in which case we will tell you.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDPA, 2023 you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update any data that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Erase your data (subject to record-retention obligations).
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case you are unable to.
- Withdraw consent for any non-essential use of your data.
- Raise a grievance with us. If we do not resolve it within a reasonable time, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at familyclinicdeepika@gmail.com or +91-9910033190. We aim to respond within 7 working days.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. If a child needs care at the clinic, the appointment is booked and managed by a parent or guardian, who consents on the child's behalf.
8. Security
Your records are stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. Only authenticated clinic staff can read them. Connections to the website are encrypted (HTTPS). We rotate sensitive credentials periodically and review access regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimise risk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. For significant changes, we will display a notice on the website.
