Common Questions
Questions patients ask us most
If your question isn't here, call us on +91-9910033190 — happy to help before you book.
Do I need an appointment to see Dr. Deepika?
No, walk-ins are welcome during clinic hours (Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM–1:30 PM and 6:30 PM–8:00 PM). Booking online or calling +91-9910033190 means a shorter wait, but you can also just turn up. Same-day slots are usually available unless it is a public holiday.
What does a general OPD consultation cost?
A consultation with Dr. Deepika is ₹900 per visit. The fee covers a thorough history, examination, diagnosis and a written prescription. Investigations like blood or urine tests are billed separately at our diagnostics partner Lal Path Labs. There are no hidden charges.
My child has a fever — should I bring them in or call first?
Most childhood fevers can be assessed in-clinic on a walk-in basis. Bring the child in if the fever has lasted more than 48 hours, the temperature crosses 102°F, the child is drowsy, refusing fluids, or has a rash. Call +91-9910033190 first if you're unsure or the child is under three months old.
How long does Dr. Deepika usually spend with each patient?
Around 12–18 minutes for a routine consultation, longer for chronic-disease reviews and first visits. The clinic deliberately keeps the schedule unrushed — Dr. Deepika prefers to reach the right diagnosis with the fewest tests, which takes a careful history, not a five-minute slot.
Can Dr. Deepika manage my diabetes or blood pressure long-term?
Yes — chronic disease management is a core focus. Dr. Deepika handles diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, asthma and cholesterol. Most patients are reviewed every 3–6 months once stable, with home monitoring guidance and only the investigations that genuinely change management.
Do you take Indian health insurance?
OPD consultations are typically self-pay, since most Indian health insurance only covers hospital admission. We accept cash, UPI and card. If your insurance reimburses outpatient visits, we will provide a detailed receipt for your claim.
I have multiple symptoms — should I see a specialist or a general physician first?
Start with a general physician. A good GP will sort out what is and is not connected, manage what they can, and refer you to a specialist only when one is genuinely needed. This avoids unnecessary specialist consultations and unnecessary tests — both of which add up quickly.
What if I need vaccinations or a health check-up?
Routine vaccinations for children and adults, and full executive health check-ups, are both done at the clinic. Walk in on any working day — there is no separate vaccination appointment needed. Bring previous immunisation records if available.
Can Dr. Deepika handle children's illnesses or do I need a paediatrician?
Dr. Deepika sees children of all ages for everyday illnesses — fevers, infections, stomach problems, asthma, allergies, vaccinations and routine check-ups. For specialist paediatric concerns (developmental issues, neonatal care, complex chronic conditions), she will refer you to a paediatrician with a clear summary of what she has already seen.
Do you offer home visits or video consultations?
We see patients at the clinic only — but if you can't travel, a WhatsApp or video consultation with Dr. Deepika can be arranged on request. Call +91-9910033190 to set one up. For emergencies, please call 102 or proceed to the nearest emergency department instead.
When to skip the clinic and go to the emergency room: chest pain, sudden severe breathlessness, fainting, sudden weakness on one side, severe bleeding, head injury, suspected stroke or heart attack, or a child under three months with a fever. Call 102 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Dengue season peaks July to November in Gurgaon. This guide covers how to recognise dengue from other fevers, what the dangerous window after day four means, what tests to order, why platelet counts are the most misunderstood part of dengue, and the one medication rule that matters.
